Relapsed.
Was 2 and a half months in. God I hate myself.

Was 2 and a half months in. God I hate myself.
Don't hate yourself it is part of the process
I know the feeling. I've been there a few times. The difference between you and me is you came back right away. I didn't. So you're already on the right path. You made a mistake. Remember how you feel today and start again. You can do it.
Be good to yourself. 2 1/2 months is amazing! That in and of itself is something to celebrate. There are people who give anything for that kind of time sober. Examine what things made you successful and try it again. I’ll bet you can hit 3 months! Keep working!
Sometimes you gotta screw up and learn from it to get to your goal. The only true failure here is giving up. Now, dust yourself off and get back to work! Those 2 1/2 months don't magically disappear. They're just not part of your consecutive sober streak. Take everything you've learned from those 2 1/2 months, the relapse, and whatever else and keep on fighting!
Give yourself a break. I believe in you. We believe in you. It really doesn’t matter how hard we fall I want to see how hard you get back up that’s way more important.
Don't beat yourself up for learning more about yourself.you have more knowledge about your strengths and weaknesses in your program.to me that sounds like progress!!!
Just think of how many days you woke up hungover or sick, and thought of getting more instead of getting clean.
You're growing in the right direction. Be gentle with yourself, recognize the growth, and get back on that horse.
I feel your pain my friend. Chin up. Take something away from it. Learn from it. And keep pushing forward. Sending you good vibes!
Thanks all for the support. It really feels like I have a meeting in my pocket.
Don't hate yourself. Love yourself and get up.
You’re so loved! I’ve been struggling too, you’re not alone. You’re still here, you’re still trying.
Just wanted to say I love seeing people who got support turn around and give support. This community is the best!
And glad you're in a better place now!
Aa. Org for meetings
So so everyone knows, i submitted myself to 72 hour of inpatient detox. My withdrawl symptoms are gone and I am back on the wagon.
The wagon is a good place to be brother!
Your sober now - that is what matters
Last time I fell off the wagon, it showed me the weakness in my support system and where I needed to build it up. What didn’t work this time? Plug that hole
If your honestly trying don’t beat yourself up. Try to do one extra thing to keep you sober. It can be anything you feel is good for you and do it knowing it’s keeping you from getting drunk. You have to develope good habits to replace the drink and hopefully feel better about yourself.I’d give you some examples but everyone’s different. What works for me might not for you. God luck!
Hey, just wanted to check in with you man! How're you doing now?!
