Harder than in my darkest daze
For me, I didn’t have a relationship the whole time. I’ve been sober, and it’s been 14 years. I can’t do it. I’m set my own ways and I can’t set myself up to failure when the right one comes along. I’ll know.
Been 7 years no relationship yet. Don't have time plus I kinda like enjoying my own company right now
Basic AA rule is wait at least a year, that way you have had a chance to work on yourself. I’ve seen people brand new at meetings, get together and go down quick. On the other hand if you work a strong recovery program, wait a year, relationships can work well. I’m ready now, it’s time for a hug.
