I had the opportunity to visit a local prison and share my story. Gratitude for freedom came to mind being able to walk out afterwards. Reflection on where I came from and where I could go back if I fail to choose sobriety one day at a time. All of the wonderful support that I've had along the way. The tools that I've used to allow me to be a productive member of society and the direction and compass I use every day to continue doing what I have been doing. Don't give up yet, remember you could be much worse. Accepting your hardships as the pathway to peace. This life is so much more worth it. Oh and if you're having a bad day, start your day over right now and do what you need to do for your recovery.

Thanks Andy!! In todays fast paced world it can be easy to forget who we are and where we came from. Meetings are In important reminder for me. I did not happily dance into my first meeting! I see plenty of younger guys that remind me exactly of myself. But today I have a choice. And I choose sobriety and helping anyone I can to avoid the same mistakes I made!!!
