Went through a DUI checkpoint on my way home from work. Cop asked for my license and registration. I handed him my license, and he asked about alcohol consumption. I laughed while digging through the glove box for the registration. I told him ive been sober for about a year. He hands me back my license without waiting for the registration and says, “have a nice evening.”
It feels good to be sober.
