Putting myself first in sobriety isn’t selfish—it’s survival. When I don’t protect my own well-being, everything else I care about eventually suffers. I used to think putting myself last made me better, but it was really just slow self-sabotage. Now I know that if I don’t choose myself every day, my addiction will take over—and then I’m no good to anyone!

Absolutely ture I just came around to that realization my self here a bit ago n with out the fellowship of the meetings I am ni better off then I was before trying to stay sobor so keep up the good fight im right there beside u man along with countless others

That mindset right there is what keeps people moving forward. Choosing yourself daily adds up, and it protects everything else in your life too.
