Now accepting donations for the “I blew a tire this morning and spent the rest of this weeks gas money replacing it” fund.

20 days today, and for the first time, I feel the struggle.
Hang in there. It’s going to be ok as long as you don’t drink.
Only had a donut, and I cannot drive on the highways in Dallas/Ft Worth on a donut. Had to get a new one.
Used tires are cheaper.
3 different places didn’t have one in the size I needed, I tried. Yesterday was exhausting on so many levels.
Keep your chin up and stay in the game. Thanks for sharing.
Hang in there. Remember this to shall pass. Hope today is better.
Have you tried Craigslist or FB Market Place?
Oh no. The “accepting donations”thing was really a joke. One of my character defects is my blatant defiance towards accepting help. I vent about my struggles, but just out of frustration about the situation. I always get it figured out somehow.
Sought thru prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood him. Just trust the process, “God gave us brains to use”. The right thing will happen.
That does sound rough, but be grateful that you are sober. How imagine how bad drinking would worsen the situation.
I figured it was a joke

Keep your head sister! Life gets better! This is a test of your patience, humility and grace. When we look for the positivity in all of our situations we are humbled.
Congrats on 20 days of continuous sobriety! Keep the faith! I’ll continue to pray for you. Have a blessed day filled with love and peace within.
Life on life’s terms. In good times and bad. You’ve got this.
A drink won’t fix a tire or fill a gas tank.
You can do this!!
Keep reaching out. Connecting with people makes it easier to get through the rough days.
No emergency fund? How’s your budget? What do you do for work? I have been drowning in money since I quit drinking…
I’m only 20 days in. Just started my new job week before last. First payday Friday.
Sarah, I love your sense of humor. Life doesn't really get easier for us because we decided to get sober. We simply get better at handling life one day at a time. And you know what? You're handling it. Keep doing what you're doing!
Nobody’s disease or recovery are the same. You sound like you’re doing great!! Better than last week, and that’s the only measurement that matters.
