Hello Sindel. I am sorry to learn of your incarceration and the effect that it had on your family vacation. I would like to introduce you to smart recovery. Personally I like AA/NA. It is not for everyone however and while in rehab I do know that myself as well as a significant amount of other veterans in the veteran affairs rehab facility I attended, we preferred the smart recovery approach and found it more helpful in preventing relapse. They do have an app and the app does have a meeting finder. They also host online meetings and if that is your only option due to time constraints or location I suggest you attend several meetings before making up your mind. I have included their website below:

Sucks to feel like you ruined a family trip. Been there. Should definitely seek help for your own sake. But also having some humility and apologizing to them in the meantime could mean a lot

It sucks when you know you can never take it back, I’m going to continue to apologize to them and I hope they all forgive me. I don’t want to loose my family!

Apologizing would mean a lot. They probably love you and have been suggesting you get some help. Me also. Actually making an effort to get help means a lot to them also. And shows them that you do care and your apology is sincere. This time. Lol
