Running vs boozing

Running is a love/hate relationship for me. Ive been a runner since high school but have never thought, hmm…theres nothing more I’d love to do than go for a run right now.
So what is it that keeps me coming back for more, no matter the hiatus?
Its that first drop of sweat down my elbow. Its the ache I feel in my legs 2 days post run. It’s knowing that I’ve worked my body in a healthy way. It’s releasing endorphins that are more addicting than any booze. So today, cheers to my slow pace..cheers to me signing up for my 1st half marathon and cheers to YOU, friends..for staying one. Day. Stronger.
