Some people don’t have good intentions, however, that’s how it’s going to be on any site that you join. People are going to be trying to manipulate others, you have to remember we’re addicts. Either of alcoholism or a drug addiction. There’s some kind of addictive disease that we have in our minds are not like people who don’t struggle with addiction. So just ignore all the people that are not helpful and shine your life on those who are.

Yeah ,yesterday I shared a thought and a member here downplayed my length of sobriety and made condescending remarks about my opinion which I had shared because I had heard it as a topic in various AA meetings. to me he was showing off the amount of sobriety he had to shut down my thought and at end he said maybe I will rethink my opinion?! These are type of people that at my home group my true Friends avoid because they share that attitude of an elite clique and I was hoping it wasent prevalent here but I get it negativity is everywhere,and I won't let Anything jeopardize my sobriety no matter how short it may seem to some.
