Thank you for taking a moment to read. Today I’m feeling overwhelmed with (more often than not) good things but it’s creating a bit of anxiety because I’m trying to accomplish them all. Just glad this is what I’m worrying about today!!! Thanks
At least it's good stuff. Just breathe. Don't overwhelm yourself.
Sometimes it helps me t make a list, prioritize and work on one thing at a time. Don’t move on till the next until that one is done!!!
One step at a time (pun intended!)
I will double-down on Sophia's comment with one addition. Of the things on the list, pick the ones you can actually change and hold off on the ones you want to change but can't right now. It's real easy for some of us to get wrapped around the axle trying to change things we can't change and it can get us into all sorts of trouble.
That's why we have a prayer for that.
I understand. I recently made a decision to focus on my writing, and launched a blog. I’m shocked, stunned, and ossified by the positive reviews I’m getting. I lost 170 + lbs, after spending the better part of the past three years making health and wellness and exercise a priority, and I’m overwhelmed every time someone tells me I look great. I quit corporate America and in a couple weeks I’m going back to school to be a certified recovery coach and I’m astonished at how proud of me everyone is for quitting a toxic job and how brave they think I am to reinvent myself at 45.
I’m not talented, gorgeous, or brave. All I did was make a decision to focus on self care, in all its forms.
