Second night in a row my dream involved drinking! I even woke up with a cotton mouth lol. Guess what though? It only made me feel like I do not ever want to go back down that road !!! Has any one else had these type of dreams yet or before ??

I’ll have dreams where I smoke weed again. Drinking was my main vice, but for some reason I’ll always get high when I’m asleep. I’ve made my bed each day since rehab, and it’s really strange, those dreams always start with me choosing to not make my bed
How do you feel when you wake up after a dream like that ??
Just the brain rewiring itself. They’ll get better once all that poison leaves your system.

The first couple of times I was kind of freaked out. I was always paranoid when I’d get high, so I’d be paranoid in the dream too. So I’d always be uncomfortable. The first few times it took me a minute to realize they weren’t real.
I don’t get them much anymore. But they’re always a good reminder to keep doing the small things that I’ve done since getting sober

My dreams were the high thing too…. MJ has never been my thing but in my dreams I’m just cheech-ing it up…. Super weird

Yes! I’ve VERY seldom ever dabbled w cannabis, alcohol is my go to. But when I was getting sober I’d have dreams of hitting a bong n things I’d NEVER do. Super wild
Dreams can be weird and they don’t define who we are

I still have those kind of dreams every now and then. And it always seems to happen when stress is coming upon me and the only way I used to deal with that was to have a drink now I don’t have to deal with that anymore I just think about what I have to do to make it right or to get things going again but it took time time is it things that I thought about the most in Fought with
That actually makes sense. Next time I will see if I felt any stress right before bed, if I have a dream like that.
