Secular AA Meetings

If it weren't for Jesus-free AA meetings, I would have never stuck with it.

I am grateful to the first, original atheist AA members, Jim Burwell and Hank Parkhurst, for their efforts in forging a path for the non-followers among us.

Bravo brother Taylor!! I’m also grateful you found your path in AA. I truly believe Bill W intended AA to be open to everyone, regardless of their religious and/or God/HP beliefs. I tried to do this program in a rigid way, and failed. I’ve also learned to make this program work for me. We are not robots. We are human, and have been given the ability to make choices. I consider myself more of an agnostic. That’s what feels most comfortable to me. Doesn’t stop me from working the steps, having a sponsor, going to meeting, and enjoying the fellowship. Keep spreading the message my friend

Hey, there you are, good to hear from ya!

Just hoping to reach the others that are struggling with the religious flavor/fervor. You know how I do. Haha

Hello! Is there a way to find these meetings in my area?

What's the nearest bigger city to you?

Glad you've got sobriety man, I hope to hold onto it as long as you and forever. Also, there's a song by Arch Enemy called No Gods No Masters; I couldn't help but state that since I dig that band's music.

Check out Sober She Devils online. Women's only atheist/agnostic sober group. They have alot of online meetings. Also The Satanic Temple Sober Faction has some great online meetings as well.

All sobriety, no magic.
