Prior to getting sober, I tried many many times to quit by myself. I'd try, get incredibly sick, holucinate, dts, and seizures...then go to the hospital, clean up and within weeks repeat the same cycle - 7 trips to the ER in 4 months, 3 medically diagnosed seizures and I'm sure even more when I was not being treated medically.
I'm now 11 months sober. But my brain is not ok. I consistently find myself forgetting what I was doing, or saying. Days are blurs to which I have little recollection. On 2 occasions I've started to drive somewhere and end up hours away and not know where I am.
Has anyone else had similar issues during sobriety? Does it get better? Mine seems to be getting worse or at least I am noticing it more.
