Self talk in recovery

It is important to keep our internal dialogue positive and reassuring. When I am having a hard day I try to talk to myself and give myself lines of affirmation. For example, I tell myself “I got this” or “you are doing great.” Negative self talk can set us back and bring ourselves down from reach our goals.

Speak positive words into your life every single morning. Think big. Think healing. Think success. Think peace. Think happiness. Think growth mindset. Always start the day with positive energy. You deserve it.

I never ever use the word "blessing". Thinking of things as blessings denotes some sort of "gift" which takes away the idea of hard work paying off. I stopped drinking, AA helps me stay stopped through hard work
