Does anyone else not trust themselves to go into a liquor store alone or even be alone around alcohol in general ? I had to tell my dad i wasn’t comfortable house sitting for him because I know he usually has a few bottles laying around his place

It's good you were honest with yourself and your dad! If you don't feel comfortable in a situation, it's best to avoid it if possible. I'm sure there are people with long term sobriety who still avoid certain situations.
