Serious question and I know I do things in humor

Serious question and I know I do things in humor and philosophical thought. I am actually reaching out to others who may be able to relate. this is not an attention thing or look at me I need to be recognized sort of thing which has become our culture especially with these types of forums of correspondence. This is a real open feedback question.

I have been more or less on the road for the last 5 and half years. I am finally getting my own place. One not rented roommate situation, or a car, or an ex boyfriend's place. Where is the question explainer boy..slow your roll here it is. How did you handle with being domesticated again and having your own place and feel the at least for me anyway the not giving any flutes of buying stuff for only yourself and not because you expect to have guests and have a certain decor as the kids say and the anxiety that may come with it of barely needing anything at all? Thank you for your time and have a kick earsss day. Also please take into account I am a minimalist too and was doing it back in 2008 long before it became trendy as flute. Again to quote an Andy Kaufman character."thank you very much."

I’m 3 years and 2 months sober and I’m still mentally going through mental health issues and major weight gain. But besides my highs and lows in life I stick to my program. Because not everything else is always going to be :rose: Rosie but I do it for myself first and then I love  my 3- year old granddaughter she’s my shining light :bulb: that keeps me pushing through life’s battles because now that I’m 34 and sober, My 18 year old daughter :disappointed: is an addict and it hurts to watch my baby go down the same road In my active addiction. :purple_heart: Have a blessed night. :v:

Thank you for your reply.:slightly_smiling_face: I have almost 4 years in July. It sounds as though you are a fantastic grandma as in kick earss. I am sorry to hear you about your daughter. Your daughter behaviors are not yours. We do what we can, and only what we can do to try and help. Attempt to have it not burden you, but it is easier said than done. be well and stay Zen.:slightly_smiling_face::v:

The question is how does one truly let go of being on the road and consolidate the two halves of who they were on the road which is who they still are now the metalisty of being on the road and who they are supposed to be by societal standards in domestication?
