Serious trouble giving up cigarettes. Any ideas?
I suck on the Nicarat lozengers you can get on Amazon. I like the mint coated once the best. It’s been 48 days without a cigarette😊
Yes…nicotrol inhaler helped me quit. Had to try the gum, patch, and lozenges before insurance would pay for the inhaler. It worked best for me. It’s like a cigarette with no smoke/tobacco. It takes care of the automatic behaviors as well as the nicotine. As you use it, try to change the cartridge no more than you absolutely have to. Once I was down to one cartridge daily, I started forgetting about using it. Use the gum also (I bought Amazon’s cinnamon nicotine gum—it tastes decent, not like some others). I still use about 2 pieces a day, but haven’t smoked in 2.5 months. I’ve smoked for 47 years—it’s a tough one to give up. Stopped alcohol on 12/11/20; weed 12/11/21; and cigs on 5/24/22. It’s been interesting.
Dang detox - the last one got me smoking! I tell myself hey at least I’m not drinking (just coughing and smelling like an ashtray!) I smoked my last one last night and refuse to buy more today! Good luck!
