Honesty always wins and allows us to move foward❤️ you are doing great!
Don’t think of it as starting over, you have way more tools in your recovery tool belt now. It just part of your journey to healing don’t be so hard on yourself. I’m proud of you!!!
I am so proud of you! Admitting you relapsed takes so much humility and courage. It sincerely helped me realize what I wanted. I’m sober now and am thankful for that journey. YOU DID SOMETHING INCREDIBLY HARD! This stranger is proud of you!
Onward and upward. Don’t look back🏄♂️
In the long run, integrity is the best policy. Good job.
I can only speak from my experience and how I see things.
You’re doing a great job with being honest and your growth in NA is amazing! I truly applaud your dedication and commitment to being the best version of yourself! Keep being you!
Just don’t ever give up. You’re gonna figure it out
Proud of you! Start over as many times as it takes, you got this!!
Stay true to yourself
At the end of the day what I want is to steer my life in a great direction. If a white chip helps then that's great man, but I would focus more on what you do want to do rather than what you don't like that you did.
We're here for you baby... this is your safe space
I just go to meetings as often as I can...I've met some great people along the way.. including my sponsor
Take it easy. Don't dwell on that and start over
It’s just a set back. It was a moment and that moment is over. You’ve got this. It’s more about the next moments and not dwelling on what happened the last moment. I don’t even believe you have to “start over”, just let it go and move forward with your sobriety. You’ve got this!!
Honesty will give you a better chance at avoiding that first one again. While it’s not a guarantee it is more likely. Secrets keep us sick. You should be proud of yourself for doing the right thing, it takes courage to be honest when a slip happens.
There's no shame in any of this. The real courage is to come back into the fold immediately after relapse. Don't worry about the key chain. You still possess all of your knowledge and support in the program. Our support network is what matters. Like the literature says " a relapse may be the jarring experience that brings about a more rigorous application of the program." Be honest and keep your head up, so you can receive the correct support you need at the moment. I am inspired by your courage to keep coming back!
Honesty is your best policy but if you want to stay off drugs, your best bet is to not drink because it can lead you back to your drug of choice!! I’ve seen too many people who stop using drugs, but continue to drink, went right back to heroin and other stuff, and OD and died… just as an alcoholic wouldn’t go start using drugs a drug addict should not continue to drink. It’s not a healthy lifestyle, but hang in there and be honest with yourself and your sponsor.
