Since I accidentally deleted my account figured I would reintroduce myself. I currently am 2 months sober. Been drinking in excess the last two years. Divorce and sudden death of my father being the reasons why I started. Finally had enough and wanting to better my health.

I am glad you’re back. I’m sorry about your losses. That’s a lot at one time. My experience of loss of parent and sudden death of my wife was followed by moving to a bigger city and I needed the support of AA. Some wonderful things happened in the year and a half since then but I am thankful it forced me out of my comfort zone and I just celebrated an anniversary. I certainly learned a lot about AA and I know that many blessings are yet to come. I am so much further along than I would have been if I had gotten my way. Grief is love and it one with healing. And nature is a very powerful ally. Bless your heart. Being along is required before we can truly love another.
