There are non alcoholic alternatives out there, not sure if they’ll satisfy or not?

I can’t live without coffee so that will never change but when I stopped drinking alcohol I turned to flavored sparkling water. There are a bunch of different brands/flavors out there to try!

Ha! Me too! Energy drinks can get as addictive as the alcohol was as they replace the sugar produced. I think you're safe if you can moderate it though. It's a costly habit for me.

We’re addicts this is what we do trade one addiction for another. Guilty as charged
Love energy drinks even though they are harmful. Slowing down on them.

Tea, seltzer water, fresh juices, smoothies, and dare I say - kombucha if you feel that it wouldn't affect your sobriety?

Speed was my drug of choice so I feel a little guilty about going caffeine heavy in my sobriety but I also get really bad headaches and the caffeine really helps, so much so that my doc prescribed me Tylenol with caffeine in it. So yea, my fridge is stocked with Celsius and V8 Energy and I stay well stocked with my coffee too. They told me in a IOP to be careful about trading one addiction for another like Kevin said but as long as I’m not getting headaches and am staying sober I’m okay with it. I’m only a year into sobriety so I may learn to let it go eventually.

Lots of great options

Yeah, caffeinated drinks made me aggro :scream:. There are many healthy drinks to test out. Ice cold sparkling water is my favorite.

Water and Mio is a fav. Coffee with espresso isn’t great either so I recently bought stuff to make Mochas at home, and Mushroom coffee. Exercising, stretching, and I go outside before 10 to get some vitamin D.

Coffee is a way better alternative than energy drinks

When I first got sober I crushed like 10 Diet Cokes a day, but eventually got hooked on the La Croixs and Waterloos
