Six months sober

New here and looking to expand my recovery and connections as I live in a pretty rural area. Any recommendations/advice would be greatly appreciated. I’m currently working the steps of AA with a sponsor.

Have you tried podcasts or audiobooks? They’ve helped me out a lot. Recovery Elevator podcast is a great one. & zoom meeting are always helpful. Best of luck. You got this!

Hi Kevin! I’m six months sober today too! Not my first time at six months but eternally grateful to be here again. Glad you found this app. It’s a good recovery tool for me to feel connected to others.

I agree with Brittany, pod casts are a great idea. It might also be cool to get ahold of your closest inter group and look into starting a new meeting close to you

Looking to expand my options other than strictly AA is all

Thank you and I’ll have to check that out sometime I use in the rooms when I can’t make an in person meetings

The in the rooms app has meetings, I used it a lot in early sobriety.
