Smoking while drinking always went hand in hand for me. So I'm happy to be done with both!

I've heard a lot people in AA not to give up cigarettes until we get our grasp on our soberity? I'm not telling you to smoke but it definitely helps with stressful times. I haven't been this clean in years and I feel  great? You gotta laugh :joy:

Yessss definitely did that’s how I knew my limits to stop drinking lol

Yea I do but cig I stop befor the liquor my dude had to stop smoking black and mild and I told him I’ll stop smoking with him to support n stopped completely

Me too. I be been a pot head and smoker for most of my adult life. I always have been relying on pot to escape reality. After about 50 days without alcohol I stopped pot as well. I realized pot makes me overthink everything and the fog anxiety was running through me with no control. Congrats Nikki keep it up. We all rock here I love you all.

Ty n yesss cig was like a enhancement for the drinking so I do understand

Sometimes it’s better to focus on alcohol first because nicotine does help calm our nerves. My sponsor told me that when I first came back to AA. Just my experience but I will admit part of me thinks it might be harder to quit tobacco now than back then.
