So for a little over 3 months now I've been going to meetings and I just couldn't seem to find a sponsor and I was like getting a little discouraged well tonight I'd spoke because one of the topics was sponsorship and after speaking, A Lady had pretty much spoke back to me.. Low and behold I came home with a sponsor that has 20 years clean!!! So beyond grateful. I'm beyond grateful for getting up and going to this meeting but not only that but for also speaking on the topic over and over again for at least the last month. I was really starting to get overwhelmed with the whole situation and I believe my higher power had seen that and put this lady in my path and I will forever be grateful for this night with that being said... I just wanted to share my good news with you guys!!!:kissing_closed_eyes:

And remember just for today don't worry about tomorrow just worry about staying clean for today!:100::heart:

Great work on getting a sponsor!!!! Tiffany120220, there is nothing stopping you from getting scads of women’s phone numbers. If you’re looking for guys, just remember with 3 months sobriety under your belt, your program might be challenged. Listen to your lady friend, 20 years is quite an achievement.

Connecting with my sponsor was the first example of my hp doing for me what I couldn't do for myself. She was the first woman who truly showed me unconditional love that I didn't have to earn first. Congratulations; it's a big deal :heart:
