So going down to the treatment center today and seeing others struggle with addiction made me realize what a monster I was while I was drinking and I can’t help but empathize with those who are struggling everyday with addiction and people need to understand it’s a horrible disease that takes your mind and your very soul and I am here thinking about all the horrible things I did while in addiction and the people I hurt and took from and the relationships I lost because of my addiction to alcohol all I can do now is help the fellow addict in his or hers struggles WTH there addiction…

It's extremely big of you to be willing to help others. The ability to be on the front lines with those still battling their own demons shows you have a huge heart.
