So grateful for Lucky, my one pupper upper! This boy saves my life every day. Anchors me with an inherent sense of responsibility.
Through every mental health crisis I’ve had I have realized that no matter what happens or how bad it gets, that I freakin love this boy.
And if I self sabotage or do something stupid there’s two things I have to consider:
-
No matter what the situation or life circumstance, this boy needs to eat. Every day, twice a day. No excuses. Bottom line.
-
If you do something stupid, what is going to happen to my dog?
He’s a rescue, and his adoption was sponsored by a local Subaru dealership because he was one of several pups that have been there for a long time period. Golden retriever mix (I believe he’s a Golden Retriever Lab mix - a “Goldador” as they say). Saw his picture on the site and I said YUP, that’s the one!
Recovery/Depression/Anxiety/ADHD tip: GET A DOG. Or any animal if dogs aren’t your thing.
12/07/22 - the day we rescued each other.
Grateful for the goodest boy!
