So I am trying to remain positive throughout my wait. I am currently in line to start a peer support councelor class and I am really looking forward to it. I had one relapse this year but since then I am having trouble with waiting it is definitely trying my patience. I feel like I am in the military and the hurry up and wait game is getting to me. Anybody else struggle with this in recovery?

Just don’t pick up and it’ll all work it’s way out. Patience to addicts is our hardest thing to do. We want everything NOW. Lol. Meditation. Praying. Meetings. Getting plugged into something other than yourself.

Thank you. I'm at a meeting right now. Today is already getting difficult. I am definitely the odd duck in the group. No chance of picking up though. I value my journey ahead more than the person I was.
