So I’m here on day 7 of no alcohol. I was wondering if anyone felt tired/fatigued/lethargic at one week in? The last couple of days I’ve been so tired and just wondered if this was common?

Yup. It takes a while to really get good sleep, and the tiredness will fade eventually. Hitting the weights and drinking lots of water helped me through the first bit

Great job on the week! That’s a great accomplishment, be proud! Your body has to adjust to the lack of sugar… oddly enough wait until the sugar cravings hit hard! For me it was a few week before I slept well and really a few months before I felt “normal” again. You will get there man.

Congratulations man! Yes I was tired for about a few months on and off. 30 years of drinking I guess I never knew what real sleep felt like. Keep up the great work!

Yes. For me it continued awhile. Just hang in there. I was miserable but happy to finally be in a detox hospital where they helped with meds. Will have 35 months soon. Not always easy but so much better than still sneaking around on my family because no one knew about my last relapse. Life gets better. I do this one minute, one hour and one day at a time and it has worked. Plus I have an amazing recovery team. Hopefully you have that help also.:heart:
