So I've been known to have an addictive personality. Whether it be attaching myself to work, learning, exercising, or alcohol. I had a slip up where I drank and got pretty hurt. Now I'm injured and unable to go workout to keep my mind clear. The silence is very loud and wondering how do I handle this without turning to alcohol as a time killer to help me clear my mind so I can sleep?
Hi Mehmet, my suggestion is to try meditation, Full Catastrophe Living is a great book to get started. Also, yoga nidras (my favorite on YouTube is my Alli michelle) have really helped with my sleep.
