So sick and tired. I get the cravings in the AM and basically plan that I am going to drink after work. Three times this week so far. I wish my brain was wired different!!!!!!!! I am so frustrated

Instead of planning to drink why don't you try playing the scene all the way forward? If you drink what's going to happen? You're going to get drunk if you're as alcoholic as I am. When you wake up, what will have changed? Absolutely nothing!
And now you will have more guilt and shame to carry around. It's a never ending cycle. You are in the very early stages of alcohol withdrawal. I don't know how much you drink everyday but if you drink enough you may need to seek treatment or detox. Instead of drinking you should try mixing some orange juice with honey or maple syrup. It's very sweet and will definitely curb the cravings.
The worst thing you can do is try to do this by yourself. I'm a believer in Alcoholics Anonymous because it saved my life. Meeting makers make it!
I highly recommend that you go to ninety meetings in ninety days and also seek the help of a sponsor. If you go through the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous you will experience a transformation and the obsession to drink will have been lifted.
I have a pretty good life these days but I had to start right where you're at. Sobriety is definitely the easier softer way. I hope you make the right decision.
Remember, if you keep on doing what you've always done you'll keep on getting what you've always gotten. If you want the results you've never had you're going to have to start doing things that you've never done.
Don’t be afraid of rehab. I was but I did it and it worked.
