So while trying to stay strong/sober about a 3 year relationship breakup, a month ago, I just found out he got engaged last week! How does that happen??

A healthy person of sound mind cannot do that. This seems to be evidence of a higher power removing an obstacle from your path.

Angela, Craig’s got a good point. When people are removed from our lives it’s because God heard and saw something that wasn’t right for us. I’m product of a divorce. 16 years together. God removed me from my home to give me the life I have now. I’m learning how to be at peace within myself and this material world. The spiritual world is where the real beauty is. I’m here for you. Vent as much as you need to.
For me it’s a blessing!! He rescued me so much which kept me unhealthy. I’m just shocked. He has never been married. At least he is not drunk texting me anymore..

Right at my 2 year my wife of 20 plus years decided it was over. She doesn't drink or drug? So I'm 30 days single and rebuilding it all again.
