Lost my job today due to an incident out of state on company time. I feel so dumb! But I’m a week sober and holding on to it.

Please do ! Keep praying or belief in your higher power. That is something that is out of your control say the serenity prayer. Last year I lost my job after being hospitalized for 10 days. I didn’t sign a FMLA so I was considered a no call no show and I also had to sell my favorite car. Fast-forward a year later I have a good career and I have another car. You can get another job, you can get another car, but you can’t get another you. Remember that your sobriety is the most important thing and keep taking it one day at a time you got this

Nothing that happens today requires a drink! Reach out to your sober community, your sponsor? Sit in a park and do meditation, pray and ask for direction. Remember one day at a time 🫶🤗
