Sometimes finding a crowd is hard. I'm a single mom going through a lot. I literally have no sitter nor can afford one. My funds are so low gas for the car I currently have is too expensive. The vehicle I normally drive needs 4000 of work. And many other things that complicate finding a crowd. This is my situation however others may have different obstacles.

Oh my I'm sorry for your hurdles! But my situation isn't that different. I can't seem to find a diverse meeting. I see people my age but when I meet them a lot of times the have 30 days or a few months wjich is awesome I remember my first 30 but I kinda get scared off by the little time and uphill battle most will have in early sobriety. Am I wrong in this thinking? God I'm horrible ain't I? 🤦

Mike, you are right, it’s especially isolating. I feel like men bear a harder brunt in this loneliness too, because rarely does anyone check in on us or wonder, or care, if we’re alright. Hope you’re well.

Find something else to distract you, remember the goal is to not pick up. It doesn't matter how you get there or stay there. It just matters that you do.
go in twitter, they have these audio chat called “spaces” you can search by topic of discussion. ur crowd can be online doesnt have to always be in person. its also free. hope you find some solid peeps. DM if u wanna chat

Yeah for now this is a nice addition to meetings and group. Since time away from the home will always mean being kid friendly as my son is always with me. The few times my mom will have him I'll pretty much be resting, doing chores or errands I cant wi mth my little one, or just camped out at home playing games or online chats lol.
