Today and everyday I am so grateful to my higher power, the program, the new way of life, and hugely important is the community in recovery. This is where I feel safe, and understood, and at home. Thank you to each and everyone of you for all your hard work, shares and for being a part of this sober journey.

Congratulations on one of the most positive post of today. When climbing we walk the trail and some grumble and complain while others whistle or sing. I’ve decided it makes more sense to be happy while we are climbing.

Thank you, and likewise. It's funny because I gave up every local friend but one in recovery. This community has replaced those friendships to a degree. It isn't the same, no. But it is safe and it is sober and that is my primary concern in making friends now.
