Sober firsts. Went to my first baseball game sober last night and it was amazing! Fully present and so so grateful. It was a totally different experience and so much better than I expected.

It turns out pretty much everywhere that we thought would only be fun drunk, is actually as much, if not more enjoyable without.
Except being around and talking to drunk people. That's something I don't enjoy now.

Not drinking has made everything more enjoyable. Just had to get all those preconceived notions out of my head. And yes listening to drunk people is the worst!

Well done!!! Went to my first sober wedding this weekend and ended up discovering that it was more enjoyable sober than had I been drinking

I thought doing lots of things sober would tempt me but the further along I get in sobriety the easier it’s been. Always have a back up plan if something ends up being too much or triggering.
