Sober for seven years then a shock surprise 2 months ago to get a divorce after 20 years of marriage. Still sober but life sucks so hard right now with no family or people to help and no medical assistance. This is the first time in seven years where I am remembering why I used to drink.

That is hard man but you are still sober so keep doing that. If you have no family or nearby support I suggest AA meetings. Just being around sober people and making small talk after meetings will help

Life will punch you in the gut I'm a living testament. Remember why you quit. Drinking makes everything worse
