Today, I am grateful to be celebrating 3 years of sobriety. Seems that every time I would hit a major milestone on my journey, I would be so excited leading up to it, then on the day just feel miserable with guilt and shame and every other nasty thing that caused me to get sober. Not today. Today I am proud! I keep laughing at my shirt (because unfortunately it’s true) and my awesome vulgar (sorry) socks. Not even a single sip of alcohol in 3 years, and let me tell you friends, my family and my body are so grateful for it! If you missed my sober story just check it out, or look at my before photos from what alcohol did to me… not pretty! If any of you that read this ever need an open ear, I’m here for you. I’ve been to rock bottom and am living proof (by the grace of God) that you can pick yourself back up again.
That’s awesome! I am on day 3 heading into 4… it’s something I know I need to do for a very long time. Your story gives me hope.

I just looked at all of you pictures and it is amazing to see the difference in you and your husband's faces in the before and after pics! Really see how we affect the ones around us. Proud of you!

That picture of us at Disney is the only before pic of him, but yes, it was not a good trip. He definitely was not happy with me. I had to drink on the drive there because I couldn’t go 5 hours without a drink 
so glad he stuck by me
