Sober hobbies and activities? Please comment your favorite! I need new ideas as I am struggling to push myself to do new things sober.

Love this post. I got a puppy in recovery, and do walks and playing ball with him. I like to paint and garden. Every now and then I pick up my guitar to keep learning. I read a lot of recovery books. I journal and go to meetings on Zoom. I go to the dog beach and the dog park. Sometimes I just sit in the sun.

I’ve found a balance between physical activity and the arts has been super beneficial to me. I love running/playing basketball as well as making music.

I also got a dog and have been trying new recipes and baking. The sweets help the cravings. I also downloaded smiling mind it is a free meditation app. Lastly I just love the library between the books and other activities it keeps me busy.

Yes to everyone’s suggestions above those have worked for me too. Another I’ve enjoyed is to find a sober community in your area, the phoenix has a group where I live, they are also in many cities across the US. Having others living in recovery to share our journey with can help. https://thephoenix.org

I paint, macrame, I have a Cricut so making custom shirts is fun, and baking food and selling it. Gotta put my skills to good use.
I have began to take semi professional looking pictures for friends and family. It's nice getting that serotonin increase for doing a job well done!

Kayaking, hiking, fishing, camping. In the winter, we like to ice fish, hiking or snowshoeing, or go bowling. I also like remodeling projects or yard/landscaping projects.

Sitting at a coffee shop patio while getting sunshine; with the headphones on.

I second Brad H. I don’t know what your comfort zone is but most people can step out of theirs by skydiving.
The comfort of doing things drunk makes it difficult to remember what it was ever like sober. The more you do the more you will find it easier to engage in old and new activities. Put yourself out there.
