It can be. But it doesn't have to be that way.
Continue to connect with other Loosid members, attend a meeting, and be of service.

Loneliness is lonely, if you get into the 12 steps and stack up some time sober, you will enjoy being alone much more, in the mean time hit more meetings get phone numbers and use them..
Not only sober can be lonely but life can be too. Lost my husband 6 months ago. He died sober 30 years. I am almost 30 myself but it is very lonely without him. Like most things there are good times and not so good times. It is life. Good thing you are starting to experience it and that is good.

Yes sober is lonely only if u disconnect meetings are what works best for me in those room I don't feel lonely and my sadness feels valid always walk out feeling better
It is. I had to ditch all my friends and Hangouts! 
Active addiction that total complete loneliness for me. Sober I'm outgoing fun social I like people and places. I will say this meetings one a day will help.
