Sober social outlet

I am struggling to find a sober social outlet, outside of AA. Is anyone from the San Diego area that may have ideas to share?

Not in Cali but the problem is universal unfortunately. Socialization has been the hardest. The meetings are great, but I want a life outside of AA too.
My old friends mock me because this was SO not my style before…. I joined a meet up app where people just get together and hike, pickup game, whatever. It’s gotten me out some in non drinking environments around different people.

Hi Julia. I have found a great AA group. However, I am trying to find a sober outlet outside the group. BTW, AA is awesome!

Its going good when I am not lonely and sad. Thankfully, I stay busy so I would say loneliness is my biggest battle. 71
days sober. How about you?

I agree. It really does help! I have met some very nice people here that would fit my sober social outlet search. Unfortunately, we are all in different parts of the country.
