Sober Soul

Sobriety is how I am meant to live. I know this now without a doubt. After years of previous sobriety before an awful spiral of a relapse for 1/2 of 2022, I’m super grateful to be sober the second 1/2 of the year and look forward to a fresh new year. But also remember this is a one day at a time deal :pray:t2::white_heart:

Me too. I had long term sobriety, but had a very ugly and painful relapse as well. Lots of collateral damage this time around. First time I got sober I was 24 and on my own. This time was brutal…wife, kids, business etc. I have proven to myself that I need a daily program of recovery in order to lead a somewhat happy and healthy life. My life turns to :poop: without it. It’s a tough lesson to learn, but let’s be grateful that we did.

Same all around! I’ve had a few relapses and I know my life is 100% better being sober. 7+ months and feeling better than ever!

Totally agree. Sober first at 31 and my kids never saw me drink. Now there’s lots of healing to do. Brutal is right and grateful to have survived.
