Taking Care of My Uncle
My uncle has been sober for a while now, and every day I see how strong he really is. It hasn’t always been easy — there were tough days and long nights — but seeing him choose peace and health over old habits makes me so proud.
I help him with little things — making sure he eats well, gets to his appointments, and has someone to talk to when he needs it. But honestly, he’s the one who’s taught me so much — about patience, forgiveness, and what it means to never give up on yourself.
Taking care of him isn’t just a responsibility; it’s a blessing. Watching him rebuild his life one day at a time reminds me that healing is always possible.
