Going through a breakup and it’s hard asf to stay sober, but I’m on my 10th day, I want to drink but I deserve more than to do that to myself so I’m gonna continue my recovery journey 
please leave breakup advice, this is hard

I am right there with ya bud i’m about a week and a half in my break up as well we were together over eight years we actually met in treatment in LA at a really nice place I’m from the East Coast originally I’m from Florida and Connecticut she’s from Portland Oregon so we clicked and within the first one or two times we ever had hooked up I knocked her up and after that I moved up here with her been here ever since the end of 2014 and it’s been a rough relationship a really toxic hard relationship but we have two children and I stayed we probably both stayed in the relationship more or less because the children and this was codependent on each other so yeah well it’s been extremely hard you’re not alone

Brother I wish I had advice for you I don’t even have any advice to give myself it’s just nice to know that I’m not in this alone I have no family out here on the West Coast of me like I said from Florida and Connecticut and I never kept very many friends out here so I really don’t have any of those either so it’s been extra hard on top of that I’m now basically homeless with no job because I quit my job in order to take care of my children so that way she could go to an accelerated nursing program so I’m fucked to seven ways to Sunday
