New here and see alot of dates and time of being sober from people, good for you all. I dont have a specific date i gave up on alcohol. To me it was more important that i quit the insanity of having alcohol control my every action. Im grateful i found the inner strength i didnt know i had. Yes it has and is sometimes been difficult but still sober after about 4 years. I know the path of alcohol i am learning the path of sobriety. Sobriety always wins. For those having trouble staying sober it may seem impossible to quit but have faith you may surprise yourself how strong you really are.
