Sobriety is going good so far this is day 13. The nicotine is proving more challenging. But all it takes is drive help from God and an willingness to give up the fight. There’s a good book called Grit which talks about people with work ethic going further than people with talent. It takes grit to pull ourselves out of the holes we have buried. That’s why the whole world of gratitude opens up. Every day I’m thankful I’m not a homeless meth addict anymore. That I have a beautiful wife and children. That all happened after finding God in the mountains. Now it’s time to keep peeling the onion.
