Sobriety without recovery and supportive relationships will land you on the dry drunk space. these are the only people i knew before and scared me when i was entering sobriety. i’m a very happy, social person and was scared i’d be resentful if i couldn’t drink. the thing is i’ve made new sober friends and have had the best summer, even though it’s been very different. but i feel so much better and no regrets or loss of memories. i’ve been present at every event, family gathering and short vacations. No looking back! sober since 5/24/2025.
