Socializing without alcohol and drugs I just can't seem to

Socializing without alcohol and drugs I just can't seem to get the hang of it I mean I interact with people in AA and na but that's the limit I mean I can't seem to form friendships outside of the fellowship I mean it's like everybody is drinking socially and I just can't have that in my life right now or ever move back here to chapel Hill 23rd of last month can anybody give me any hints on where to take this dilemma

I always recommend volunteering. What do you like? Theatre, kids, older people, helping at a food bank or a homeless shelter or a hospital? You have to be a sober volunteer and with all the social funding cuts, more places than ever need help!

Have you tried The Phoenix?

It’s an app with sober activities. It’s a great way to meet others in your community without it being in a meeting.

The have a wide variety of in person and virtual events.

I also second volunteering.

There are apps to meet friends. You can choose alcohol/no alcohol as a filter.

@tommy423229 I agree :100:% with what @linda286430 suggested. Volunteering somewhere, anywhere, will definitely get you out of your head.
Volunteering is a great way to be of service.
