I'm struggling to make friends who don't smoke and who are permanently based in the DC area. I heard on a comedy show with Bill Maher yesterday that more of the country is found to need thc or cbd for their pain...this society is really painful and I have a whole degree to help people. I'm worried my loneliness gets in my own way.

Huayra, I found really great friends in the rooms of AA & NA. My old friends remained my friends but to be honest I became more interested in my sober friends. I want to be free from all mind altering substances. My sobriety is about freedom. Free to be happy, peaceful and healthy.
