So I ran into this "old friend" and I use the term loosely who was out of her mind on Xanax and she said hello then proceeded to tell me about an event that I can't for the life of me remember well apparently she hit me while we were in the county jail and really wanted to say sorry I think?? Cuz all she did was hug me, squeeze my face, and laugh. Needless to say I didn't stick around for long, although I don't remember I really didn't want to be around for the obvious nonsense. I just
thought it was funny how she felt so cool, and my heart was just aching for her. It's great to be where I am today, even if I don't remember every step I took to get here.

You didn’t entertain the thoughts and got out of there. Growth!
It’s not easy to see someone stuck in a place you’ve worked hard to move out of. Your compassion is what sparks change. Your life is your story that can help others see hope in recovering. Proud of you.
Thank you
