Sometimes is so hard to make people understand the past is exactly that the past I know I shouldn’t give a sh** what people think or say and the first time I got clean I didn’t give a f*** but something has changed since relapsing and getting clean again it so tiresome and hurtful when people still hold it against you and talk about you
Hi Morgan, gosh, isn’t that one of the most frustrating things. When I am struggling with what people are thinking/saying about me I do affirmations. Confirming what I know is true about myself in this moment. We just keep moving forward!

Unfortunately for us all, humanity tends to dwell on past mistakes. Take for instance a person convicted of a crime is called a criminal even if they never break the law again. A felony follows a person for life, even if they serve their time.
