You okay? Check in with us. We’re here for you

You got this.

Remember that the thought of picking up a drink or getting a fix is nothing but a big fat lie. It won't make things any better. In fact it will bring you right back to where you are at right now sooner or later.

You have to play the scene all the way forward. You might feel good for a short period of time but when it's all over with and you wake up, if you wake up at all, nothing will have changed.

One of the great truths in life is that life is tough. Normal people make it look so easy. Us alcoholics/addicts spend much of our days in our addiction running away from anything that is tough.

When we first get sober we have to learn to face these tough situations without picking up or getting a fix. In sobriety we learn that life doesn't really get easier but rather we get better at handling life one day at a time. And once we accept the fact that life is tough, the fact that life is tough no longer matters and we learn how to excel in life.

Just checking in. How are you doing?

Keep busy and keep positive. True happiness is worth it

When you get these cravings just try having some jolly Rogers or something sweet that’s what you’re missing out of the alcohol is the sugars

It sucks. It's hard. But it is possible. Just take it one day at a time.

How are you holding up bro?

Thanks for the support guys. I'm doing well and still sober

Keep going strong, I’m so happy that an hour ago you said you are still sober. It does feel like booty having random urges that feel like they’re gonna last forever but definitely keep distracting yourself. Hobbies are the way to go!! I was suuuuper close to relapsing today and I literally had to run out of my house and just sit in a random field and listen to music while watching clouds until I felt like it was safe to go home. Keep doing as much as u can (:

Hey guy
How's it going? I was just checking in with this app and you were one of the first post I saw although I don't know how long ago it was. Thought I would make contact with you.

Eat sweets your body is craving sugar. There is a lot of sugar in alcohol.

Keep your head up baby, don't be afraid to reach out for extra support. AA or NA meetings in your are, professional counseling, or just friends and family. I have faith in u that u will be ok. Look at what I've already accomplished and the people that are proud of u. U are fighting a serious disease that will tell u all kinds of things. Remember the consequences when u feel like using/drinking and remember bad thoughts are temporary. U aren't alone sweetheart....take one day at at time and don't overwhelm yourself. I'm a recovering heroin addict and sobriety saved my life. Think of what u have, not what u don't have. Giving up one thing for everything outweighs giving up everything for one thing. Bad days are temporary, and yes, they are very hard sometimes but each day is a step in the right direction and each day will get better. Give yourself credit for getting where u are today.ake sure u pat yourself on the back every day u complete sober. Good luck sweetheart and keep your head up...

In praying for you brother.
